I decided to go out of comfort zone and try out a beauty
post! I wanted to try something different creativity wise for the blog. Plus as
it is my everyday makeup it is a great look for hanging with friends and going
to work or school. Plus by adding a few more elements (eyeliner) you can easily
go from night to day. Please note beforehand this is not a sponsored post.
Face
Nivea Soft Moisturiser – Moisturiser is the key. I get very
dry skin, so as soon as I get out of the shower I put on moisturiser let it set
into my skin then go onto the rest of the face.
Nivea Tinted Moisturiser – I use tinted moisturiser instead
of foundation as foundation sometimes feels too uncomfortable especially in
Australian summer when it can practically melt off your face!
Maybelline FIT me! Concealer - Great to hide those unwanted
spots or bags under the eyes haha (I swear I get at least 8 hours of sleep every
day ;P)
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder – In transparent, just to set the
whole look so it lasts all day!
Eyes
I am very simple with my eyes, as it is every day make up I
only add mascara to make my eyes look more open and awake.
Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara – For the top lashes I
also have an old mascara for my bottom lashes
If I want to dress it up I use a pencil eyeliner to create a thin
line on my lashes. Or if I am super tired I add a highlight in the corner of my
eye to wake myself up!
Lips
Lucas’ Papaw Ointment – I put this on before and after my
lip colour so my lips don’t dry out as fast.
Revlon Colour burst Matte Balm – In Sultry (225) I am
addicted to this colour and I carry it everywhere!
I'm not a big wearer of makeup as you can probably tell. I only started wearing it when I was around 17 years old so I am still pretty new to everything. My look is a more natural look. But I do find it heaps fun to play around with.
Is there anything makeup wise that you can't live without or swear by? Let me know in the comments!
Love always,
